To help address some of the many important questions we have received concerning the City of Toronto Beltline Trail Study, we have compiled a long list of frequently asked questions (FAQ).
The FAQ is posted as a PDF document on the study web page: www.toronto.ca/beltline
We have done our best to provide clear answers to many popular questions, such as:
- When might the upgrade work start?
- Why does the study area not continue along the trail west of Allen Road?
- Will the plan include additional by-law enforcement, e.g. to reduce off-leash dogs and cyclists riding too fast?
- Will the new plan include winter maintenance of the Trail?
- Will the hours for access through Mount Plesent Cemetery be extended?
- Are new off-leash areas being proposed as part of this study?
- Will the City be paving the Beltline Trail?
- Is the study looking at installing lights along the trail?
